question but what is a vector????
the difference between vetor and pixel,hhhh.... for example if u wanna make a
line:
pixelfiles makes dot beside a dot beside a dot beside a dot til they become a
line.
advantage: can show very complaxe images (fotos)
disadvantage: isnt scaleable without becoming bad quality
vectorfiles only know the beginning- and ending point of the line and the stroke
between this two points is created automatically.
advantage: the lines r scaleable without that it will become a bad quality.
disadvantage: vectorfiles cant be very complex (mostly used for logo-design with
plain and clear lines&colours)
u create vectors with programms like macromedia freehand or adobe illustrator (u
can also do with photoshop-pathes) ....means u make a shape with lines u can
vary like u want and fill them with a colour...
arrrrr, hard for me to explain, may ill make a tutorial for vectorpathes
someday^^....

is this "Artist of the Week"-idea still in progress? we've so many
members in this group, but think its hard to visit each ones userpage to learn
more about themselves and their arts.
it would be such a nice possibility to introduce oneself to all members here on
the groups-page, maybe by displaying 3,4 works and give a short statement about
intentions, reason why u draw, who u r, what u wanna go to, for what u could
need help for.... starting with the bottom of the member list we could go up the
list step by step. 1 week to introduce the artist to all other members, shown on
the groups-page.
the artist him/herself choose a few drawings he/she wanna presentate to the
members and write an own short statement. (of course only if he/she wants to
introsduce him/herself on the groups-page)^^
maybe we could open a thread for each artist, where other members can post their
opinion. this keeps the GB clean. this way it wouldnt be much work for almost
one person.^^
